# Records

## Records Overview

Think of Records as your complete TAM in a box. Over time many companies end up maintaining their own external database (e.g. Snowflake)

Orbital's Records serve two primary purposes:

1. Manage your entire TAM from Orbital
2. Automatically sync accounts, contacts, and opportunities between Orbital and your CRM

You can do both bulk and 1:1 actions in Orbital and have the changes reflected in your CRM.

* **Bulk:** Sync all net-new accounts from Orbital to your CRM; enrich and update a large number of CRM accounts at once.
* **1:1:** Manually select or filter the accounts and then update your CRM.
