### **How to use Discover**

**1. Start with a Natural Language AI Prompt**

At the top of the Discover page, you’ll see an **AI prompt box**. This is where you start.

Type in a simple, natural-language query — like:

“HVAC companies in Texas”

*“Salons in Alberta”*

*“Pet stores in Canada with a website”*

Discover will automatically understand your input and generate relevant filters below, saving you the time of manually configuring everything
**2. Review and Customize Filters**

Based on your prompt, Discover will apply **filters -** including location, categories, and other matching criteria. You’ll see these populate automatically under the AI prompt box

You can:

* Keep these filters as-is
* Adjust them to fine-tune your results
* Add manual filters - like requiring a website or excluding closed businesses

This helps you narrow down to your exact **ideal customer profile (ICP)**.
**3. Preview Your Search**

Once your filters are set, click the **Review** button. This gives you a **free sneak peek** at the kinds of companies your search will return

Use this step to confirm if your search setup is accurate. If not, you can easily go back and tweak the filters
**4. Run the Search**

Once you're happy with the preview, select how many companies you'd like to surface, then click **Search**. This will return a full list of companies that meet your criteria
**5. Further Refine Results**

After the search runs, you’ll see a list of companies with attributes like:

* Review count
* Categories
* Website presence

You can apply **additional filters** at this stage - for example, filtering by companies with more than a certain number of reviews to further narrow your list.
**6. Group Duplicates in Your List**

Before taking action, use the **Group** feature to clean your list.

You can de-duplicate based on various parameters like

* Domain
* Company name
* Location

This ensures you're not pushing duplicate companies into your Workflow
**7. Send Companies to Workflow**

Once your list is ready:

* Select the companies you want to keep
* Click **Export to Workflow**

These companies will move into your Workflow table, where Orbital enriches company records with signals that matter to your team
